puffers and bullrouts?

last week my younger brother burst his fish tank
and i was wondering if hish freshwater bullrouts could be
put into my puffer tank?

i know the water conditions are very similar

i just wanted to know about the aggression side of things?

I'm not sure what would happen if your puffer nipped at their very venomous spines. Also, what might happen to the bullrout, if he tried to eat the puffer.

i did take that into consideration,
i just thought maybe they wouldnt bother each other
like how fish generally keep away from venomous fish

Could you put in a divider until he can get a new tank set up?

its all been sorted out no problems, my brother got a new tank
