Take a really tall dude/dudette for example. You have company over, so you've gotta sleep on the couch, but you're so tall that you have to curl your legs in and arch your back... Uncomfortable, right?

Anyways...

Cool PF, can't wait to see it!

I have done this. I am a tall dudette, often too tall for my bed. It is not comfortable. :P
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Perfect example right there!

Hmm... They still have not changed the Starry Puffer's tank size requirements.

I'm a bit disappointed, I must admit. At first, I was calm, figuring that it was just a mistake, but seeing as you haven't bothered to listen even to Jeni Tyrrel, I guess I'll just have to step in. The Starry Puffer needs at least 1000g to completely turn around in the aquarium and have a few inches so as not to graze the glass every time he/she moves, not 300g! If you do not change this, I will have every single member on thepufferforum, thecowfishforum and temperatereef : marineaquaria storm you with emails of the exact same topic.

I can and WILL.

Make a choice... Make the RIGHT choice.

I apologize for any inconvience this may cause.

...And for my rant. I'm heartfelt about proper care of animals. ;)

I just sent that to LiveAquaria. You guys will storm their inbox with me if they refuse to change it, right?

Just keep the mails polite by adding a nice little message under it like I did. Don't want to lose privileges on the site now do we.

Their reasoning is that fish don't grow as big in captivity as they will in the wild, so they don't need as much room. What they don't get is it's the otherway around--without enough room, they'll never grow as large as they do in the wild, because they're stunted!

I know, it's sick. They replied to mine saying that they're happy I've told them about it, and that they'll forward it to staff... I thought I was speaking to staff already.

Don't mix Temperate Reef up with this :P. I'd hate to have my forum stunted because of this. But i do think that they should list correct requirement information.
