I honestly think that you would have to do some major thinning. Like I said, a complete overhaul is needed if you want puffers. The fish you have in there get big. IMHO, you're overstocked already.

right, look at my last post. if i just kept the plecs, would i be able to get a single puffer of some sort?

Look, I'm just saying this probably won't work. You may be able to keep one pleco, but I wouldn't. Puffers are mean, usually. Pleco are dirty, so are puffers. I'm none to familiar with catfish, all I knew was that many get huge. Your probably right. I'm just saying I wouldn't try it.

Whiptails and clowns reach 6". Plecos are messy animals. Your tank will be pretty full with just them. You really shouldn't have puffers in there.

My A modestus (aka Bronze), lives with a 6" Royal pleco but has killed anything else.

damn... i really need another tank. i suppose i could tell my dad thats what i want for my birthday lol.
a 20long would be nice. maybe ill come back then. but as of now, ive got no puffers lol.
