Oh, your porc died? Sorry to hear that. S&Ss are adorable. They get huge, but they're so darned cute!

Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Ceylons are not like GSPs, which was something it took me a while to realize, as I assumed that since a black belly on a GSP meant trouble, it would be the same with a Ceylon. Not so, at least from my experience. My Ceylon most often has a gorgeous, white lower half of his body with not many dark rings and squiggles on its side and face/chin. However, when he sees me come up to the tank, and starts begging me for food, you can watch that white belly change to black right before your eyes over the space of maybe 30 seconds to a minute. It's pretty cool.

Mine likes whole mussels, too. And anything else I put in the tank, including my fingers. :) Although actually, he has quite the little entourage with a couple of blue damsels and three black and white striped damsels: they flock around him, especially at feeding time, and he shows not a bit of interest in them. That may change someday, but really he doesn't even look at them anymore.

You should post that 2nd pic of your S&S in the POTM contest. I think they were looking for 1 more pic.

Watch that Niger trigger - he/she may bully around your puffers and other tank residents.

Quite the opposite. Nigers are the most passive of triggers. The dogface of the trigger world. Your niger is going to get huge btw...20 inches. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2007/7/fish

I'm sorry pf, but i disagree. My niger was a beast and ripped to shreds at least 2 fish. All fish are individuals, like people. you may have a nice passive one, or a devil.
i'm busy thinking of ways to remember what i was going to say
