Oh boy! Breeding behavior!
Maybe I won't be getting that irrubesco. Bullet's showing breeding behavior. His body's gotten real sharp, Bug's getting round. He follows Bug around and will nudge against her while she looks around. He even was too occupied for food! Knowing Bullet and his IP condition this is odd!! Bug was too annoyed to eat. He's still following her today. I think I'm going to have eggs soon.
I don't think I'll be getting irrubesco, I'll have to use the 30 gallon for the fry.

Darn.
He stopped the behavior. I don't think she laid the eggs as he's not guarding anything.

Re: Oh boy! Breeding behavior!
I doubt they'd breed. It is very rare for them to breed without conditioning from the owner. It has been known to happen, but it is rare. James Bond has acted like that with Thumbelina since I first got them, before they were mature. The body shapes are also normal for adults, regardless of whether they want to breed.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Didn't someone on here recently, find a baby DP in their tank? Be nice to think they were happy & healthy enough to breed though wouldn't it!

Yeah, it happens, just not often.

Re: Oh boy! Breeding behavior!
Okay, I've got to stop saying darn so darn much. (lol)
This is the second time I've gotten all worked up on a false alarm. Your right, LilGreen, the chances aren't good, and only having one female even lowers it more. From now on I'm going to stop over-reacting things.
I've also got to stop using short, choppy sentances. "Oh. Well, alright. False alarm. Thanks." just sounds stupid!!
Okay, that has nothing to do with this, but I noticed it so there.
