Welcome, Luigi & Flash

Post by bigfatfish »

They're here! :D
My two new GSPs. Very tiny. They have brilliant white tummies & are brightly coloured on top. Their fins are nice & not nipped at all. They are exploring every inch of the tank & have had a small meal of some blood worms.
Luigi is the fattest & a bit bigger & Flash is the tiny one, who is very fast! I love them aleady & hope they will do ok over the next few days. I will attempt to put pictures up when I have them, but will let them settle in before scaring them with the camera.
:D :D :D :D

Awesome dude, I hope they turn out okay too lol... I think puffers are cool to watch and it sucks what little steps are taken by the people who basically abandon them... I mean, that is really mean to mistreat a fish, all they ask for is what you should have researched and a bit of an investment... If you can't provide it and are to lazy to do the research, then you don't deserve to keep any animal....
Sorry, ranting, anyway, I think it's great that they are with their final owner...

Congratulations bigfatfish on the arrival of your new guys! Good names too. GSP's are one of my favourites, they have very endearing personalities, although mine can be fairly lazy (and fat!).

I have no need for a telly anymore!
I have spent hours today watching these two little characters! Luigi has a pale tail with black spots & Flash's is all white. Little Flash follows Luigi around like his shadow. They are eating well, no signs of stress, no hiding away - always keen to come & say hello (I know they just want me for food, but, whatever!).

Well, I've had them a week now & been trying to take pictures of these 2 cheeky little things, but I swear they are never in the same spot for more that a milli-second! Maybe I will try to video them & work out how to post that instead.

Upload it to PhotoBucket.com. Then you can post it with the embedding code that they'll provide.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."
