It is stealing, and it's not right. It wouldn't work, either - they'd order more and we'd be perpetuating the trade. In order to bring about change, we must either stop them from selling fish, or getting them to take proper care of the fish and give accurate care instructions to customers.

Maybe if we can get them to take it down we can have them put a ton of pop tarts there.

thats wat i did last time they had like 20 gsp in a 10 gal and where all looking unhealthy so i went over to the food isle and opened up bloodworms and feed them and they all looked so grateful. lemme know what you do i would love to change walmarts mind about carrying these species.

Our walmart used to sell GSP's as well (i usually look every time I get drug in there) But they have had a very small inventory list lately which has NOT included the GSP fortunately.. seems every time i go in there less and less fish appear. I remember when they had GSP's they were all very thin and most were being caught by the water flow and some even dead just mingling/floating with all the live ones. in fact it was not uncommon for 4-5 dead ones, stuck to the water intake, for just floating on the top.. very sad. but as I said before they havent stocked them in a couple months so Im hoping they will abolish the fish trade altogether.
