Bacteria is too small to see. It's probably just a little dirt kicked up from the substrate or something.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Please stop using that product or any others, other than Prime to condition the water, unless otherwise advised by us. Those specks could be from overfeeding the tank. What are your exact water parameters now?

That's quite a huge swing in pH. Which is it exactly.? Same with some of your other parameters. Nitrite at 20 is ok but 40 is very high. Should really be below 20. Are you abcolutely sure nitrite is 10? Even at 1 it is extremly toxic, 10 is quite deadly! Don't concern yourself with hardness or alk, unless you're running a reef tank.

i am using the crappy ""jungle test strips"" i will take some tank water to the LFS and have them test it but these are the results of test strips. wat should i do i am going out of town for 3 days someone will be feeding them. should i take 50% water out and add no aquarium or marine salt. mind you i raised the salinity from 1.000 to 1.004. take water out and condition some new freshwater to put in with or without salt please be specifis i dont want these little buggers to be dead when i come back. also what are some cleaner foods to feed em i have brine shrimp snails frozen shrimp(baby ones) some clams from a can (they dont like yet) sundried shrimp (eat them but they kinda dont like but ill try sticking into gravel) and of course blood worms. yes i do spoil them what kinda diet do u suggest and how often ?
