Puffer ID ?

Post by ThatPufferGuy »

Hello I have been trying unsucefly to ID what kind of puffer I have the lfs in which I baught him called Him/her a leopard puffer but I can not see how that can be possible everything I found on the net says leopard=GSP but I know that's not what he is he's a brownish color with tan spots all along it's length it also has fiery red eyes with a kind of greenish opal pearl glaze color pupil hahah this isn't an emergency by any means but I'm sure if you were in my shoes you would wonder too. On my profile I have a very poor quality photo becouse my camera is crap but it's the best I can do. Things I would compair the puffer too are the red tail red eye puffer but he ha a brown tail not even close to red and an even close one would be Abe puffer but that puffer is white and I'm not Shute if the come in brown.
Thank you to any input.
P.s./ I'm Sure anymore but if you can't find my TPF I think it's in the new pic thing on the home page my user name is ThatPufferGuy
also my email for anyother stuff is tylerhopkins@ymail.com
Thank you again
P.S.S/this was typed on my iPod touch so sorry for any spelling lol.

I'd guess Monotrete abei in "reverse color mood" from what can be seen.

Hi,

I've got an abei named George and he looks like this most of the time (he goes very dark overnight and when he's first woken up).

sometimes he's like this as well

The closest pic I have to what he looks like when he first wakes up is this one

*just managed to see the pic of yours and I think that, if it isn't an Abei, it's very closely related to one :-)

Congrats on the beginning of your puffer addiction!

Gotta ask the puffer, they're the only ones who can tell.
