I am sorry to hear that you will be parting with him.

At least you will be able to visit him and see him in an environment that, though all of us wish we could, you could not have provided him at home.

Yep i could never provided him with such a huge space!
I have to take him down tomorrow morning and not looking forward to it as i have a feeling hes gonna be a monster to catch!
He's gonna be in a huge bag inside a polystyrene box gonna be travelling for about an hour, he should be alright for the journey without a pump or anything shouldn't he?

Oh, wow! What a great home! You can rest easy knowing that he's going to have a terrific life.

An hour in the bag without a pump should be absolutely fine.

Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

I think it's great that you think enough about him to go to the trouble of finding such a great home for him. You are really showing how much you care by what you are doing. He will love his new home, I'm sure of it.

And I think he will be fine for the journey, I've travelled longer than that with puffers in a bag, so yours should be fine. :D

I am pleased to say that all went well this morning and he is now sat in one of their quarantine tanks where he will stay for 4 weeks before going into th main tank. They showed me all the behind the scenes things and then took me to see the puffers in the tank he will be in. i must say i have never seen such healthy and happy puffers before. There were 3 dog face a guinea fowl and a stars & stripes, all very fat and just swimming around! :D

What a lovely way for a puffer to live out it's life -- about as close to getting back to the wild as I would imagine it could get! Good for you for doing such a nice thing for it. :D

How nice is that, to give your puffer a nice big home, and to get to go see him as well? Best of both worlds really. :)
