So after weeks of waiting i finally got my F8 and he's active(well not currently he's just chilling in the bottom of the bag while im acclimating him, but he looks healthy to me but his tail fin seems to always be closed only on sharp turns does it open up i was wondering if its normal or if he's sick =[.

It's normal for them to curl up their tails.

after he became used to his new tank, its constantly been open. =]

and after giving him his first meal i now see what all the F8 owners love, how their belly becomes huge.

Heheehee, another convert! Yep, mine closes his tail for turns and sometimes when he's just cruisin'. He also does that thing where he turns his back end way to the side so he almost looks like he's bending sideways in half, lol. It's cute.

My old valentini would often cruise around with his tail closed and only when he paused would he open it up.
