GSP discolored

A few weeks ago had my smallest GSP a strange spot with no color. It was not fungus, and it was not an other bacterial something..
Yesterday is want to put some corals in my tank and i say a strange thing between the rocks.. it was my biggest GSP! :shock:

He eats just like normal, but he is not as hyper as normal. The smallest GSP doesn't leave the biggest one and it looks like the smallest, Muppet, want to take care of Mini the biggest.
On a other forum it is thought that it has to do with dominance, but Mini is the boss... not Muppet, so I can not imagine that that is the reason!
Also it looks like Mini has diarrhea..

Littlte thing that i've done the last weeks. I removed the big pump and placed 2 flow pumps in the tank. The NO2, NO3, PO4 en CA are fine... only the NO3 is a little bit higher as it should be, but that is normal.
PH and KH i can't measure..

Does anybody has a idea what is wrong with Mini? I dont want that anything happens t him.. :? :(

Mine turns those colors at night and I only see it for half an hour after the lights go on.

I wouldn't worry about his colour too much, if he is happy & healthy in all other ways. Mine changes colour at night, when sleeping, when hunting - he's like a chameleon. (& he is 10 years old, so can't be too much wrong!).

Not sure what is up with the colours of your puffer, but it's very attractive looking! :D

I suggest not feeding mealworms to your puffers very often. they are difficult to digest with that hard outer skin.

My GSP Elevator does this once in a while. In fact, he looks like that today. This would be the third time he has done it. I think it has something to do with being "sick". He is a little sluggish, but still eats like a pig. Normally gets over it in a day or two.

In his case, I think its because he insisted on continually trying to steal some food from a bubble tip anemone. But I managed to convince him he was an idiot.

One's a week they are getting Mealworms, Mini eats them with no trubble, and Muppet sucks the inside uit of the worm :P

That feeling sick, i do think that it is the problem.. a while later he poops all over the tank :D
But the first pic shows that he is not feeling happy... for now he is swimming around like a little kid with no problems, but it was very scary to see my biggest en toughest GSP with no color and no energy..

Mine is starting to havea discoloration now too.. but she seems healthy.... hmm maybe she's just maturing or something....

This morning Mini was fine..now Muppet have lighter spots, and they don't look happy :(

I have realy no idea what to do for them.. It's not that she is olmost dead, but she looks unhappy, almost sad... Not as hyper as normal..

I think they look good, colour is nice too. They appear to have a nice tank to swim around in, so I don't see what the problem could be.

I think it's just another natural color pattern, like "hunting colors" or "breeding colors."

No it's realy not guys! I can not tel you al everything, becouse i have no idea how to say it in Englisch..

This is not normal! The have never looked like this, and i see in Muppets behavior that she is not feeling oke!

It is not a normal pattern guys! :(

It's probably what julianchan said - a stress-related color pattern. Maybe you just should wait and see? She doesn't seem to be in any distress at the moment, does she - just feeling a bit ill, but not gasping or injured or anything?

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be not to be able to say what you want to say. :(

It's not easy to tell what's wrong with a puffer from just a photo either, so all I can do at this point is to hope that your puffers will be alright and get through whatever is ailing them now. Best of luck. :)
