Sorry I haven't been on the forum for ages, I have been super busy. My boyfriend Jack decided on a new career move and with some help from his family we have opened up Williamstown Aquarium in Victoria, Australia !!!
It was a looong 5 - 6 months of setting everything up from scratch but it is definitely all worth it now. We specialise in marine fish and corals but also have quite a big range of freshwater fish. We also have our own quarantine facility which means we can import direct from overseas which enables us to have very competitive prices and a great range of stock.
We also have a 10 foot x 4 foot x 3 foot marine display tank which is up and running. It takes a lot to fill it though and with everything else that we have to do each day its been put on hold at the moment! The rock work is nearly complete, and then it will just be a matter of choosing the best corals to fill it with!
I always make sure we have lots of puffers in stock of course
We have been open a month now and it has been a lot busier than we thought it would which is great! Hopefully now that everything has settled down a bit I'll be able to be on the forum a bit more
