Depressing...

Post by Brent »

My fish tank currently isn't set-up as I'm moving in a few weeks, and will be getting my first puffers after the tank is cycled... I went to the pet store to restock on Newt food for my fire-bellies and saw the most beautiful and active Dwarf Puffers ever... Or at least, the best I've ever seen in a pet shop. I loved to watch the little guys. I have no doubt that they'll be gone by the time my tank is ready though. It's hard to find puffers in NL too. :(

Hopefully they'll get some more in. You could always ask them to order some for you in their next shipment. Dwarfs are just great! I'd recommend them to anyone, especially when you're new to the wonderful world of puffers. You'd love them and they're tons of fun to watch when they hunt for snails.

Would they hold them for you if you paid for them?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Doubt it. It's a fairly small business [though a great one!] and they need to make money quickly in order to keep up with the costs of maintaining their business. I could always try though.

I definately will ask them to order more... I really loved the pair though. They stood out much more than other puffers I've seen... And one smiled at me! :D
