otherwise they are beige sorta.
anyway here he is. btw he is eating fine and enjyoing his new home. he has taken to sleeping in a corner and rousing when i walk by to patrol the tank waiting for me to put my hand in to get a head bump or rub.

that shows the dominant color that seems so pale compared to every other porc i have had. you can see the darker blotches on the back sortof.

this one is easier to see the dark blotches and the lighter side areas.
Based on a little grunt work and a ton of questions to translators i have assembled a fairly good idea of how he was dyed. his color was shot with a needle in the areas when it was but they only went so deep, the under layers still possess the original color and they show through when he is sleeping or resting and his color pales out. the whole pattern goes dark brown to match the tail area.
whether he was dyed or not, hes a great fish, and enjoys playing hide and seek inside my fingers and eating anything that hits the tank that i dont sheild from him
