i read in the pufferpedia that some SW puffers will actually nip at the corals...
just wondering if spotted green puffer will do the same thing or not....
cuz i'm thinking of moving them into my reef tank when they get bigger
if they do damage the corals tho, i might need to get another tank just for them
Puffers are PUppies withFunnyFaces in watER P-U-F-F-E-R rules!!
My puffers always take a bite out of new things in the tank, so I try to rearrange things when they first go in or feed them when they go in. They don't actually bother the corals once they've taken a bite.
If your reef tank has other fish, you'll want to think this through very carefully. A fully-grown GSP can be fatal to smaller fish, and even to some larger ones. At the very least, he'll be a holy terror.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."
