The expression on #2's face is great, and I love the way that it looks like it has a hairdo.

And, of course, the Elvis description cracks me up.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

A photo should be voted on for a few different qualities. 1st of course, is the subject & entertainment value of the pic. 2nd is sharpness, 3rd is composition. All 3 make for a winning photo.

IMO, the win goes to whoever posts the pic that the most people like, whatever the reason for their vote. For example, Elvis gets votes partly because his owner is a good photographer, but even more because he has a great personality, and we all know and love him. :)

That's the fun of it, everyone votes for different reasons. Some vote on photographic qualities (layout, clarity, composition, etc) and others just on the sheer cuteness. I bounce back and forth all the time hehe..

Which one was yours? Truly, I liked all of them!

I'd love to enter, but mine move around way too much to get a pic. I'm going to try tomorrow while they're feeding.
