They are so much more calm now. That i can say, shell would agree. These days they love to just swim around the air stone together or rush around after food. They are very good mates. Hope that does not change! Of course they do the old get away from me stuff but just not as bad as it used to be.
They sounds like an old married couple!

hi! our puffers are just amazing to watch! its just fantastic that they are now starting their mating process. As me and Hexo have discussed, if the new filter doesnt arrive in time this time, we definatly want babies in the future! no doubt about that, just for the whole experience of it really! we love our puffers so much, just a shame we cant have a salt water one!! 
i would love to though! on its own and a completly loveable character like the red-eyes! But if hexo is willing to get/build a tank big enough to house one i dont see a problem really!

Thank you for letting us know it will grow back, they really are very small nicks from his tail though! we do water changes very often, will look out for Melafix though! the tips are very much appreciated! we knew we have had Carinotetraodon lorteti since we bought them (luckily for us they got the lfs got the scientific name right but not the general name!) we will be posting pics of our puffers very soon so please take a look!LilGreenPuffer wrote:It'll grow back.
