CO2 diffuser

I am thinking of planting my F8's tank and was thinking about getting a CO2 diffuser...are F8's ok with that, I thought I read somwhere that they don't do well in a tank with a CO2 diffuser?

Never heard of that problem, I (slightly) overdose liquid carbon in my figure 8 tank without problems.

Do you actaully have plants with heavy, fast growth and high nutrient needs in a brackish tank? If not, why are you considering adding CO2?

I have never heard of Figure 8 puffers having issues with CO2, but it might be easier to use a liquid suppliment such as Flourish Excel instead of bottled...

there are down sides to adding pressurised CO2 like a drop in PH but if you are buffering against it, with crushed coral for example, i can't see it as being too much of an issue - mind you figure 8's are essentially a freshwater species that require salt to remain healthy in a home aquarium so i doubt that they would mind the drop in the PH that much.

The benefit of pressurised CO2 is that you are able to maintain a stable level of carbon within the tank and therefore should suffer from less algae problems.

My hornwort & tiger lotus are growing at a phenominal rate now that I use Easycarbo.
