I believe there is zero import on puffers, but there are some native to your area... if you have the time or place, you could catch one. ;)

yeah can't get saps here, where in australia are you?
in cambelltown, sydney theres a guy selling banded puffers and milk-spotted puffers
neither are fresh but as close as you'll probably get here
