Miurus at LFS!!!

I didn't vote because it would be misleading either way.
To vote yes would be irresponsible. Even though they are really cool, it needs it's own cycled tank and unless you have that (now), I would not suggest getting this fish.
To vote no would be hypocritical. I know if I found a miurus, I would be quick to bring it home. It would be a shame to miss out on a great opportunity. Difference is, I have tanks I can shuffle so that this puffer has it's own personal tank.
In the end, I think the tank should always come before the fish...

Yup... I've got 18g and a 25g quarantine tanks, both of which can be cleared out for a new resident. Wouldn't have considered it otherwise...

Then that's good. If you still want one, I would get the tank all set up and cycled. You can make it miurus (burrowing) friendly too. Just be completely prepared for when they get one in, ya know?

you could always ask them to order one for you.......
