would 60 Dwarf Puffers be ok in a 6x2x2 180g tank?
Hey Guys
This is purely me just dreaming of tanks to have in the future but would 60 Dwarf Puffers be ok in a 6x2x2 180g tank?
Would the 1 DP per 3g rule work for this many or would it get to hectic in there!
I suppose that would mean 15 males and 45 females (1m to 3f)
Maybe 50, with tons of plants and decor?
I think it'd be amazing to watch them all

lol awesome tank.
How would you tell them all apart? what about when there were issues? would you spend your days looking for all of them and counting them!?

I would have thought so yes, i have 2 x 6x2x2 and they are large tanks although filteration would need some thought as i reckon if you used a powerful canister etc some could fall prey to the uplift

Do you use a 1 Fx5 filter on your 6x2x2?
Do you think that would cut it with this many DP's?

Don't you have to start building a 1,000 gal tank soon?

Two F8's, two tiny fantails and a pleco call me mommy.

Yep and loads of other bits in, all my tanks have always been overfiltered especially that one, used to have rays in there before too.

I agree that it'll look quite amazing, but I wonder if it'll maken those 60 dwarfs happy...puffertt77 wrote:I think it'd look amazing
You'll have to breed a LOT of snails, to keep 'm fed, by the way!
