It must have been from the fish store. That's too bad that you can't get the medicine where you are. Try treating with freshwater dips. Or you could try hypo. library/hospital/swich/ You can also find some threads on this site where people did hypo and dips. That might answer any questions. I don't know a lot about treating ich/oodinium, but this should help.

Oooops! I was doing a little more research on oodinium, since I had never heard that word before, and I found out that it's what we usually call velvet. I didn't know that velvet was a form of ich. I'm sorry. I guess you know that this is almost always fatal. That's rotten. I'm sorry.

If he dies, clean out your tank, maybe even with bleach, and go to another fish store! Don't give up on fish! Just don't go back to the same stupid people for them.

Gotcha! I thought that you meant that your dog, the kind with fur and four legs, got sick every time you brought new fish home from that store! Well, try a different store next time, and hopefully you'll get better results.

Awww. That's awful. I was really hoping that you had made a mistake and that your adorable dogface would be okay.

That's really awful, knowing exactly what's wrong and how to cure it, that quinine sulfide stuff, and just not being able to do anything.

i just starter with the last thing i can do for him..
a mix of formalin, copper sulphate and malachitegreen.
but if this is not helping.... than nothing can help

and now we wait for 5/6 days to see if he is cured...
