Stripped Dogface Puffer
I've never seen this kind of Dogface before, I'm sure different kinds of puffers interbreed as it also looks like a Narrow-lined Puffer
It's for sale on this site

Re: Stripped Dogface Puffer
Sorry, wrong ID, I think it's a Arothron manilensis. It is in the dogface family.

What the puffer or the book? lol.puffertt77 wrote:Are you getting any in at work soonBogwoodbruce wrote:Seen these in my Aqua-log book. Great looking fish
We dont currently do marines, we started stocking them at one point, we carried the dry goods and a basic range of fish, live-rock, coral etc... but there just isnt a market where we are and were costing too much so weve done away with them. Maybe when the new shop is finished and we then work on getting more into our current unit we may do them again.

I've noticed that with a lot of LFS only doing tropical fish, I suppose it must be expensive for all the equipment big enough to handle a large amount of SW tanks. Also keeping Marine aquariums still seems hard to do to someone who's never done it before, I know that myself I've wanted a Marine Aquiarium since I was a kid but was always told I couldn't have one because they're hard to look after and expensive

Re: Stripped Dogface Puffer
Really to make money in marines you have to go into in a big way, theres a much smaller profit margin in them aswell. We just stick with what we do best. People that want marines go to the specialists anyway, we do best with a large range of trops cichlids and a fair few oddballs... not just including the staff
