Happy Snails- for a while, anyway

I got my DP, Squirt, some tiny snails again. These are in the tank on the glass now, but one got munched right away. These are 2 of 5 - when they were in the bag. I rarely see snails out of their shells because they are terrorized by the puffer. At least 3 are happily sucking away at the glass in the tank.

Those look like Malaysian Trumpet snails...be careful that you're not feeding big ones to your puffers, as their shells can be quite hard and you don't want your puffer's teeth to get damaged.

Thanks. They're ITTY BITTY though. Hard to tell in the pic. Those guys are long gone. I just put in a new batch of "regular" ones. He's having fun terrorizing them now.

I squish MTSs before feeding them to my DPs. Anyway, DPs usually go for the sucking approach, rather than the smooshing approach, from what I've seen.
