My new Malagar Puffer Tank.

Post by Vinc_rot »

Since my F8s are moved to her new home i have one 28Gal (120Ltr.) tank free. This Project you can see on: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17303

I plan was to get the 6 Tiger Barb (puntius anchisporus) together with Malagar Puffers in this tank.

The desing for the Tank was in Asia and India River style.

The Technical Data are:
Filtering via inside filter Fluval 3Plus
100W Heater
2 x T8 18W neon lamps Freshwater and Tropical Water lamps.
2 LED´s (one blue and one green)

The only special solution for this Tank was the challenge :
- more plants needs more manure - CO2 :?
- the Malagar Puffers original habitat has a very very low KG/GH something below of 2 or 3  my normaly KH/GH are more then twice (Sorry there are some difference between US, UK and DE measurements)

The Solution that i identified here is CO2 via electrolysis. Te Solution it very contended. But it will reduce KH/GH and give a little CO2. Not perfect :? but i will see how it will works the next month.

Best Regards Vinc
