:) Thank you all for voting! Sushi is giving me a big grin now whilst doing her backwards swim.
Honestly though, I think there are some puffers in this month's POTM that deserve the POTM more than my entry. Great photos, all of you!

Sushi is such a beautiful fish.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

I must say that the results on this competition often surprises me! This month I thought #5 was the absolute best photo, very sharp and beautiful puffer :) #4 wasn't bad. The puffer was cooler, but not that sharp :S I guess you guys look more at the puffer than the quality of the picture. That's actually good, but it's hard (for me) to guess the vinner :)

Don't have to say that I'm a fan of sharp pics, huh? ;)

LOL that's the fun of it.

Some people vote on how cute it is, or how funny, others vote on photographic "style" and quality. You just never know who's going to win :)

I usually vote based on cuteness/funniness. I don't know squat about photography, but I do know that what really makes a puffer is personality. :)
