Dwarf Puffer Feeding

Post by lilacamy931 »

I may ne getting my dwarf puffers next month and am terribly excited! I have read the feeding articles and know to provide the dwarfs as any puffer a good variety of food. What I wanted to know was that due to their tiny size, need small foods. I plan to buy the frozen packs of blood worm etc that come in cubes. I wanted to know, there will be 3 dwarves, one cube a feed be enough? (yep know to feed till rounded bellies not too full) but on a generalisation as wish to ascertain how to stock up on these. There will be other varied foods so do not worry in regards to this (though recommendations on particular dwarf favs would be good - I plan to chop bigger stuff like prawns down for them). Also have a feeder for the worms which I hope will help. Thanks in advance!

I have two, plus two ghost shrimp that also eat bloodworms, and a cube lasts me about three-four feedings. When I had the fish alone, no shrimp, a cube lasted a week at least.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."
