BIG Mbu at work!
Well i took the weekend off from work for my birthday (the first weekend ive had off from work in the past 15 months!) And i was out with friends and i got a text from my manager saying 'new shop pet 18' and a photograph of a HUGE MBU. I was like sods law i have my first day off in ages and a mbu comes in!
and a big one! Apparently hes in a 4x2x2 for now and he should be getting moved up into one of our 78x32x32 display tanks as a shop pet, as he grows he can go into the 8x3x2. So i might go up tommorrow and have a look and get sonme pictures to show you guys.
Even on my days off im going back lol

Re: BIG Mbu at work!
Well i went down today on my day off. It was really busy so didnt get chance to have a proper look and talk about him, but a lady brought him up yesterday, she had him for 2 years at around 4" and kept him in a 5-2-2. Fed daily and treated like a pet, and she was almost in tears when she brought him down.
Hes currently in a 4x2x2 tank and will soon be going into a 78x32x32 tank but the occupants need moving but with it being a shop there isnt always time to get jobs like this done.
Hes in the dark to help in settle, i got a few pix and put the light on for some better ones and he came up and got all excited like Mbu do, and started swimming and shaking his tail (dwaine does the same) and cos there is no cover he slashed water everywhere!
Heres some pix

Nice Fat Mbu
How big is he, he looks huge?
That's funny that happening what with that thread a little while ago about the other big Mbu in that LFS
That's great you're going to keep him at the shop and be able to look after him
