My 24 gallon, advice?

Post by alexk3303 »

Finally have my tank set up and running. Does this look good for 3 dwarves and 4 ottos? Any advice?

Very pretty tank! Although those three rocks on top of each other kind of freaks me out; I worry about everything and I can just see those rocks come crashing down and causing some sort of a problem. But otherwise, yes, you could easily put 3 dwarfs in there...I don't have any experience with them, though, and from what I've read they might be aggressive enough that the otos would suffer, so someone else will have to comment on that part of your question.

Does look good :) I reckon they'll love it.

Although i'd be inclined to add a few more tall plants, and a few live parhaps amazon sword or vallis? Looks great regardless.

Also maybe a background :D

More plants! Tall ones especially. When we say these fish like to explore, we mean it!

Otos and DPs get along great, in general. I've never seen a speck of aggression from mine.

Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

I would say tall plants or something to break their line of sight more, my DPs get pretty aggressive when they see each other.

Ok, more tall plants. But I'm thinking I might just leave the rocks out.

I wouldn't get rid of them entirely, just rearrange them. They grow lote of nice algae for the otos. Otos need to have food available 24/7. They have absolutely insane metabolisms.
