That's great! And the extra 20g left over after 30g each should cut back on aggression, since they'll each have nice big terratories. Make sure that there's lots of broken lines of sight and hidey-holes on both ends, and that should help, too. Dritwood + plants + caves = happy puffers!

Ya the decorations will come over time, i have to wait and see what comes with the tank. As it is right now i have a big half ship and a few small fake plants.

Ya they look alot better now than when i first got them. Unfortunately when i went to pick up the new tank today it wasnt quite what i expected. I have a few new leads that i am checking out tomorrow, hopefully one of them is good.

it just didnt have a lid which is important to me. I checked out craigs list but it didnt look like too many people use it in my area. There was a 75 gallon that was still running and came with 2 filters for $50 but its an hour drive away and it would suck to drive that far to figure out something is wrong with the tank.

Oh, well, you can order one, or get one from the LFS. I wouldn't buy a whole new tank just because it doesn't have a lid.

i figured the lids would be over priced, i didnt buy the tank im going to look at a different 55 gallon tomorrow.

so i finally got a 55g tank today, but its not ready to go up just yet, i need to make a stand and get a filter and heater for it still. I estimate it should be ready to start up in 2 weeks.
On an unrelated note, i have 3 ghost shrimp and 7 baby guppies in the tank with my puffers but they havent touched them. Is this because i feed them everyday? If i didnt feed them would they be more likely to go for the live food in the tank or is there a chance they will starve?
