I would assume so since starfish tend to be low to the ground and arent very active.

not sure yet if I'm gona get a SW puffer but maybe a 1inch Porc, Stars n Strips, Mappa, guinefoul or large/adult GSP. GSP would be ok in this tank, anything else will have to go into a much bigger tank in 6 months I'd asume

Puffito ( a porc) never bothered our starfish. Of course, having a reef tank, we're somewhat limited in the kinds of stars we can keep.

I have many stars & I really like them all. Great maid service! No sand-stirring creatures if you are keeping a DSB.

not sure about the coral eating, but they eat other inverts like worms but also fish. they set up traps n stuff to catch them too.
i'm busy thinking of ways to remember what i was going to say
