Another section just need some hopefully briefer help on (thanks for all help so far)
The plan is for figure 8s. Reading the informative article in the Puff Library gather their food consists of: mussle, cockle, prawn, crabs, bloodworm, silverside, snail, crayfish, shrimp.
Have decided now to start sourcing food. The brilliant LFS stock brine shrimp, bloodworms as fresh and frozen (there was a third one but cant remember...possibly daphnia). They did 6 packs for £9 to stock up on.
I have found at a local people store they sell 180g mussel meat for £1.00 and 250g Shelled Prawns fresh for £1.55 and 1kg of Frozen whole prawns for £4.30. Would this be a good enough range of food with occasional treats of mussels and cockles?
The LFS said they could supply small amounts of pest snails when they cleaned, but did recommend different source such as whole shelled prawns? The puffs now I will need to wait for a good month or two (the tank planned on fell through and now need to save bit more before purchasing for better one) and generally wanted to get the diets down to pact so I can prepare stock and not have to worry on them starving when I do get them. Any advice appreciated. I know is dependant on the puffs themselves but wish to make sure a)good variety and b) good supplies to trim teeth regularly.
