Some GSP questions

Post by ghart36724 »

Just wondering if anyone knew how to tell the sex of a GSP and what the antenae are that are between their eyes? Also, what kind of plants do you all recommend for the puffer to play and hide in. I have a 30 gallon tank and it seems like alot of room for the little guy and I want to add some decorations, thanks!

They can't be sexed.
Those things on his face are nostrils.
I'd stay with silk or plastic plants & make some caves to hide out in. Petsmart makes cool fake mangrove roots for decor. I like to use them in all my puffer tanks. Lots of decor is good to keep him from getting bored. Be sure to read the GSP artricle in our Library.
