puffer attacked
i thought i would just quickly pop on before i had to head off to work,
this morning i fed my puffer a cray fish and went outside for a ciggy
when i came back in the cray fish had my puffer in what looked like
some type of wrestling submission/death grip and my puffer couldnt
get free, i had to break them up but when i did it seem my puffer has
a puncture or small cut on his belly, i just wanted to know how or should
i treat my puffer for his wound?
he doesnt seem very fazed by the attack and after i seperated them he then went on to destroy the crayfish for his troubles

Re: puffer attacked
good water quality and melafix. he should be fine.
I'm sure this happens often in the wild, but maybe in the aquarium try feeding smaller food, as in the kinda that can't attack your puffer

Re: puffer attacked
i did cut off his 2 big nippers, because he was a fair bit bigger then any of the other crays, its other litte legs grabbed him
when i dont cut off theyre nippers my puffer tends to go for theyre eyes first then the nippers once theyre blinded
but when its got no nippers it just starts at its tail
