Welcome everyone to the March 2009 Puffer of the Month photo contest!

Vote on your favorite puffer photo, the winner will automatically be entered into the Puffer of the Year competition for a chance at winning a gift certificate to The Puffer Store.

Be sure to click on each photo, as they open up to a larger version in most cases. Voting runs for 10 days, you may only vote once, and you may not change your vote, so vote wisely :) Good luck to all and don't forget to enter April's POTM, there are still a few spots left!

Brief description - He is our latest puffer. Lives in my fiancee's 20 gallon. Looks like a golf ball puffed hehe.

Name of Puffer: Bonzo & Jimbo (& Loki)
Age (if known): Had Bonzo nearly a year and a half now, and Jimbo about 6 months
Size: Bonzo is about 4.25" to 4.5" and Jimbo is bout 3"
Brief description: Oi... you... Mr. big thing out there, if you want some of this muscle you'll have to hurry, this fat green thing behind me is a bit of a piggy...

- the ever shy, ever humble, darling puffer that is stars. The most gentle fish in my tank...who is so shy, it's taken me a year to get her hand feeding, and the clown fish scare she so much she puffs at them! But i do love her, she is indeed, my star.

Description: P-Diddy (RIP) and Hootey investigating their new fiddler crab friend when I first got them. The crab lived to see another day ;)

This is my Figure eight puffer "Bruiser"
Species:Tetraodon biocellatus
Age:Not sure I've had him for six months
Size: ~3" I think he's full grown.
This picture was taken in my newly set up 75 gallon tank. He is one curious little fish. He likes dodging obstacles, searching for food and posing for pictures. Bruiser looks tough hence the name, which my girlfriend came up with.

Number 9 is cute,but if i get a fidler crab would it attack my shrimp,pleco or cory?

just to let you know that this will be Bonzo's last appearance for a while.
I barely have time to come on here let alone spend hours in front of the tank with a camera trying to get a decent shot.
I'll try and get back on it after I finally get around to sorting out his new 300L home and 80L sump
