Fahaka developing orange spots

Post by BakeAT98.6° »

So I noticed 3 orange-ish spots on each side of my little Fahaka.

Are these normal for a Fahaka, or is he possibly something other than a Fahaka?

I will try and get some pics up late tonight or tomorrow.
1 Baby Fahaka in 45G (soon to be 125G)
1 16" Channel Catfish in 125 (soon to be in someone elses tank)
Empty 125G soon to be filled with Piranhas as soon as I brace my floor

Pics please. A cross river would be so cool, you should feel very lucky.
Grant me the serenity to accept that I can't take every puffer home;
The courage to say no to those big eyes looking back at me;
And the wisdom to do every thing I can for the ones that I have.

Pic? Probably not a CR, just a different color morph of the fahaka, depending on where it was collected.

That would be cool to trip on a cross river!

Tried to take some shots last night but the battery in my cam died, and I don't know where the charger is.

Hopefully my wife knows and she will charge it up tonight...
