lmao!! omg I did that when I was about 12. I was trying to clean the tank, to surprise my mom when she got home from work. Not only did I get a massive mouthful of poopy water, but I didn't realize the siphon had started. After I got back to the tank, there was less than 25% of the water in the tank.. the rest? ALL OVER THE CARPETED LIVING ROOM FLOOR!!!!
jeeze. We got out the towels and the carpet shampooer, and never said a word about it.
Mom FINALLY found out last year.. 13 years later!
rinse with some really good mouthwash. you should be fine!
My Puffers: 1 GSP (Microfiche) RIP, 1 Monotrete Turgidus (Leon) in a 30gal. 1 Monotrete suvattii in a 40 gal FW. 120 gallon BW with 3 juvenile Dragon Gobies (so cool). 55 gal with a 2" GSP named Hank. 180 gallon being set up for a Fahaka in the next few months!

The problem is I was syphoning the tank and I got a mouthfull of dirty water
Straight away I pictured the poos and gaged
Now I'm wondering can I get worms from the water?
Should I have a swig of Naboos Meds
I don't think it'll be a problem for you. I'm not a worm expert but the ones you have to watch out for are the tape worms and from what you are describing Naboo didn't have tape worms.

My Puffers: 8 years of FW puffer care! currently have 1x mbu Bubba 17" gentle giant... loves a belly tickle. 2x Suvatti Pair 1x Carinotetraodon borneensis
i do that on a regular basis. I did it last night while setting up a new tank... my fluval 404s primer leaver snapped so i sucked on the hose and got a full mouthful of dirty black gunk that collects in those rubbish ribbed pipes! then the sealing rings leaked so i ended up with a wet tank base and carpet! so i siliconed it together from the inside!!! *&%$*%$&$^*^%* im buying a eheim for that tank in a month or so! my only fluval filter ((other than the +range) which are actually good for flow and thats about it!!! in general fluvals are rubbish! i cannot wait to get a nice wet dry eheim on it and throw that thing in the bin! ( i may smash it open just for the beautiful substratpro inside! hahaha
i dont mind getting a mouthfull of water for a eheim though <3

...........i'm so sorry for laughing so hard....but i don't think there's a whole lot of fish keeping folks that haven't done that at some time or another......now about those worms..... .....you might have to be hosed..... .....being that you have "treated" for them...they are more than likely dead....so i don't really think you'll have to worry about infestation......but if you start seeing your stomach moveing around ....and i mean like the movie "alien" moving around i would go to the nearest ER and be evaluated ...... ...just kidding....but i couldn't help it.....i've done that too and i threw up for an hour.....
I have one of those self starting gravel vacs. I broke the little plastic piece though cause I got mad having to shake it so much
Try getting a mouth full of paludarium water... 100 times worse in my opinion
I actually swallowed a mouthful cause I have to use just the tube cause the whole vac won't fit. So in my water was a little gravel which cause me to choke then gulp. made me very sad.
