I read throught the illegal/legal list in nsw. And these species arent mentioned in any list?
wat does mean? are they illegal or legal?

Re: Fahaka/MBU in Australia
I don't know the exact laws, but I believe species not specified are default illegal in Australia, due to the problems imported species have caused in the past.

Where did you find the list of species? I'd really like to look at it since I'm emigrating to Oz very soon!j_wishbone wrote:hey guys

Re: Fahaka/MBU in Australia
Try searching some of the Australian gov. websites, or Australian Fisheries dept. websites for info, since Australia is one place where they seem to care enough about animals to have most info on what is legal and no legal to bring into Australia... not to mention very strict quarantine laws...

Simply phone the department in charge for your area.

Re: Fahaka/MBU in Australia
Hey! just found this list for animals that can be legally imported into Australia http://www.environment.gov.au/biodivers ... t-list.pdf
The only Puffer on it was of the Canthigaster family (Valentinis etc.) There were no freshwater puffs on it, I haven't found the illegal list yet. I did read that any animal not on the legal or illegal list may be imported, you have to apply first. Hope this helps
