Today I started the 24h prazi+levamisole bath. I increased the SG a little bit (1.010) just in case the brackish water forces him to injest water (with meds) to keep osmoregulation. I offered him some regular shrimp today and he didn't accept, that worried me. Hope that treatment give us some results. I just don't know how often repeat the treatment.
Can you confirm if it's a F8 with IP?

Since this board has been up, we have found there are several questions that routinely get asked in order to help diagnose problems. If you can have that information to begin with in your post, we'll be able to help right away (if we can!) without having to wait for you to post the info we need.
1) Your water parameters - pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrates and salinity (if appropriate). This is by far the most important information you can provide! Do not answer this with "Fine" "Perfect" "ok", that tells us nothing. We need hard numbers.
2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants. Include algae eaters, plecos, everything. We need to know what you have and how big the tank is.
3) Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank (examples: Cycle, Amquel, salt, etc)
4) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so. Sometimes its the little things that make all the difference.
5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it? If you don't know what cycling is read this: Fishless Cycling Article and familiarize yourself with all the information. Yes. All of it.
We want to help, and providing this information will go a LONG way to getting a diagnosis and hopeful cure that much faster.
While you wait for assistance:
One of the easiest and best ways to help your fish feel better is clean water! If you are already on a regular water change schedule (50% weekly is recommended) a good step to making your fish more comfortable while waiting for diagnosis/suggestions is to do a large water change immediately. Feel free to repeat daily or as often as you can, clean water is always a good thing! Use of Amquel or Prime as a dechlor may help with any ammonia or nitrite issues, and is highly recommended.
Note - if you do not normally do large water changes, doing a sudden, large water change could shock your fish by suddenly changing their established water chemistry. Clean water is still your first goal, so in this case, do several smaller (10%) water changes over the next day or two before starting any large ones.

My fish wouldn't eat when treated with levamisole, and I do think increasing SG a bit does help slightly.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

After your treatment is over do a large 50% + water change, add carbon to get the meds out then your fish will start to eat again. Annabelle did the same thing. Even when I use melafix and pimafix she won't eat. Once I did the water change she started to eat again.

Re: Can you confirm if it's a F8 with IP?
Hey, good to read your reply!
I try to avoid adding meds in the main tank, I did the treatment in a hospital tank. After the 24h prazi+levamisole bath I acclimated him to the main tank's water (from 1.010+meds to 1.03 pristine brackish water). He's still a little boated, but he IS eating.
I did not notice any worms swimming in the hospital tank's water. I still don't know how often repeat the treatment.

Just try to watch when he goes pooh. Then you will know if you need to retreat or not.
If you see white stringy pooh in the next few days don't retreat right away. Annabelle did that, she was passing the last of the dead worm. One day I saw white stringy pooh the next day it was big black pooh. I was worried I would have to treat her again, I took the advise of a friend and waited. She is now "worm" free, dead and alive!
If you want to treat him again in a few weeks just to make sure, soak his food in the meds and see if he will eat it. If he does treat him that way instead of moving him into a hospital tank. If he won't eat it then you can do the hospital treatment again. I would give it at least 3 weeks before I treated again.

Re: Can you confirm if it's a F8 with IP?
Actually I feed him at night, so when I turn on the lights in the next morning I could see him defecating, he didn't that since I treated him. Does the type of food change the feces coloration? I only see black poos when I offer him some snails, when I offer some clams or shrimp his poo is kinka whitish.

Color in can be color out - every now and then I toss a puffer at work a fatty little waxworm, if they need enticing to eat and are too small for the big nightcrawlers, and it freaked me out before I realized those come right back out the same waxy color.
