My new hood is in for my dwarf puffer tank! *squees in delight*
I wanna plant it I wanna plant it I wanna plant it I wanna plant it like TONIGHT.... I also want my Betta! They have such lovely crown tails....not in little cups either but in 1-2 litre wide mouth mason jars...
I'm gonna forgo the substrate additive and just use the Flourish line, with tabs, and liquid ferts, and excell too.
I will SO post pics up when I'm done!!!!

I'm a husband but I can't be there for at least 24 hours. 
"Darwin swings...annnnnnd a miss. Boy Jim, Chuck's suffered at the plate tonight. He's 0 for 3 and I'm not sure he's recovered from that shoulder pull a few weeks ago. I'll bet the front office is re-thinking that contract."

I had my 160 delivered and set up before my husband got off work. On his way home I told him to hurray up I had something to show him. He said: You got a new tank didn't you. I just got really quiet. 
Then in a soft whisper I replied.....yyyyyyeeeeesssss. 
He asked what are you going to do with that monster if you don't want fish anymore. I told him it would make a nice bath tub.

2 Onions, one in each back corner so when they grow..they make a nice background...
Java Fern, and some Wendtii Bronze for the middle area with some rockwork interspersed
A tiger Lotus or two for the foreground (will keep runners trim) And possibly some corkscrew vals in there. I heard Vals don't like Flourish Excell so I might pick something else...
And
My Soon to be Betta Home:
His tank will have some java moss on the ground and an Anubais Barteri right in the middle.
