Okay. Got sick of water looking like weak tea (from driftwood). Did 50% water change. Tested water; nitrites were still off the charts! Did another water change; they went down to zero. Added more ammonia; this morning, had .5 nitrites. Added more ammonia, as per usual. Maybe they were taking so long to come down b/c of a buildup? Will see how things proceed.

I called the LFS (the one that I don't hate yet) and ordered two DPs, male and female, and two otos. They should be here Tuesday!!!!! I'll keep my eye on the water over the next few days, and keep adding ammonia, and do that last water change to get rid of the nitrates, but OMG IT CYCLED AND I'LL HAVE MY LITTLE TEENY PUFFERS IN A FEW DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Darwin swings...annnnnnd a miss. Boy Jim, Chuck's suffered at the plate tonight. He's 0 for 3 and I'm not sure he's recovered from that shoulder pull a few weeks ago. I'll bet the front office is re-thinking that contract."

They're on my friend's camera right now.

Last night, I ate crawdads - the caf has amazing food on holidays. I had to crack them open and pull them apart with my fingers... I felt like a pufferfish!
