My Puffers: Odo (GSP) and Cassie (F8)

Food Size

Post by Puffer_holic »

Hey..I have a quick question. Currently, I'm feeding my puffers a mix of snails, brine shrimp, and bigger shrimp. My local fish market sells steamer clams. Odo is about an inch and a half and Cassie is about an inch long. Odo's a GSP and Cassie's a F8. Will they eat the steamer clams or will they be too big for them?
Thanks
The only thing you should eat that smiles are goldfish crackers.

Crack the clams open, freeze them, leaving some of the flesh on the shell but removing most of it. Slice pieces off the frozen chunk to give to your puffers. Once in a while give them the shell with some flesh on it - they love it, and they also bite the shell and scrape it with their teeth, which keeps them worn down. (Of course thaw these items completely before giving them to your puffer, ideally in a small container of tank water.)
