knight goby and orange chromides
Does anyone have any experience with either of these species living with F8's? How many would be good to get of each to go with my 2 f8's, 1 archer, 1 dragon goby in a 60g diamond tank?

I believe Pufferpunk has 2 knights with her F8. I'm not sure I'd trust them with a dragon goby though.

No, stay away from the dragon goby, he looks to much like food. They may look fine now, but you will wake up one mourning with your puffers stripping his fins.

- My Puffers: 1 GSP (Microfiche) RIP, 1 Monotrete Turgidus (Leon) in a 30gal. 1 Monotrete suvattii in a 40 gal FW. 120 gallon BW with 3 juvenile Dragon Gobies (so cool). 55 gal with a 2" GSP named Hank. 180 gallon being set up for a Fahaka in the next few months!

Definitely stay away from the dragon goby. Those fins are just too tempting for a puffer to resist. They also will eventually need high brackish to marine conditions to thrive, more then the F8 would care for.
"Darwin swings...annnnnnd a miss. Boy Jim, Chuck's suffered at the plate tonight. He's 0 for 3 and I'm not sure he's recovered from that shoulder pull a few weeks ago. I'll bet the front office is re-thinking that contract."

I have had the dragon goby with my puff's for well over a year now. I also believe PP houses one with her F8's. They pretty much completely ignore him.

You should know that puffers can suprise you. I had to give my dragon goby a new tank.

Well I am willing to take my chances with the dragon as I said has been in there for over a year. When first put in he was badly injured with no finnage as some gsp's had there way with him at the lfs. Even when he was injured like that they left him alone.

Did you notice your Dragon Gobies getting mean and defensive when they were in with other fish? I have a couple of very small mono's in with mine and the fins were getting kind of ragged, couldn't figure it out until I sat up watching movies all night. When the lights on the tank were out, one of the mono's accidentally got a fin in my big gobie's "home", all hell broke loose!
