Puffer ID for a noob Please!!

Post by KoleWolf »

Hi there,
My name is Kole and this is my first post on this forum. I was directed here by a friend who is trying to help me ID a Puffer. I think it is a Dragon Puffer but would like some opinions from some experts.

I've never owned one, but they are generally your typical lurker species.. hide most of the time, like to burrow, attack anything that swims by...

I'm a proud owner of a Palembang (Homer)... and as Myaj has said, they basically just lurk/hide 99% of the time, with movement related normally to food (if they are hungry) or just to hang out in another spot within the tank...

As for aggressiveness, its a bit of a gamble... Like homer has lived happily with my tire track eel for almost a year now, but with other fish, such as Chinese Algae eaters, tetras and other similar fish tend to turn to fish food within a matter of days of going in...
