One of my DP's just ate from my hand!
ok i know alot of you already have your puffers doing this but i'm very excited. my large female DP just ate a snail off my finger. she came right up to me, hovered around it for a second, and then took a couple nips at the snail until she had a good grip and then swam off with it. i'm so stoked about it.

Hehe yes they are so cute when they do that. Both my GSP and my Ceylon learned to eat from my fingers on the second day I had them, but so far my Bronze seems to be more interested in seeing how edible my hand is, rather than the food I'm holding for him in my fingers.

Hehe! Slugsy my Irribesco ate from my hand for the 1st time the other day! I was so excited too! Even though he did nibble my fingers a bit too,but its ok coz he's so small!

I cannot wait for Naboo my Mbu to eat from my hand!
He's still a little Shy, he's only just started eating the stuff I drop in for him and moving round the tank (I've only had him for 5/6 days)

Congrats! I can't wait to get my DPs. The first day I had my (late) GSPs, they ate from my hand, and it was AMAZING! I know how you feel.

haha awesome. i'm working on getting eight ball (my new f8, named after my old old who i miss) to eat out of my hand. he ate a snail i put in with him he first day but he hasn't eaten anything else yet. i tried a little raw shrimp with the shell today at the end of a plastic toothpick but he didn't look interested in it. spaz my betta was though. lol. my DPs are now always swimming up to my hand when its in the tank looking for food on it. lol.
