Yes, there are different methods but as you can see, the method described in our Library, is the most efficient! ;)

Yes, it is, but unfortunately, I have no good source of media/gravel/whatever from a healthy tank at 1.014SG.

Is there any "BW feeders" that you can use to cycle a BW tank? Maybe just throw some fish food and let it decay :? ?

fishless cycle is the best and quickest.
