so.. I just got back from the LFS..

And amazingly, I didn't come home with anything other than food.

They had JUST gotten their shipment of fishies in.. and OMG. They had the 3 CUTEST Porc puffers. Their eyes were so big, and ugggh!! I just wanted to hug them! Anyway. This love for everything puffer that I've recently found will be the sponge that soaks up my money.

I've already decided that with a little more puff experience (I already have 6 in my home -- 3 dwarf, 2 GSP and 1 ceylon -- NOT in same tanks, thankyouverymuch), I will have a fully marine tank equipped with the cutest, biggest eyed puff I can find.

I can't wait!

Thank you all for helping me fuel my addiction!!!

Be careful, they are addictive (now you can't say we didn't warn you :grats: ). Remember the porc will get much bigger than the freshwater and brackish species you already have. If you want a marine puffer why not go with one of the sharp nose (toby) species- valenitni, solandri, etc. They don't get as big ( with the number of puffer you have think you might be like me- having a tank space issue- can't get any bigger than a 75g now because I have 10 tanks for 18 puffers :mcfly: that was I thinking!)

it will be a looooong time before I can convince the BF to let me go full marine.. he'll probably make me get rid of something in order to do that, anyway.

The guys at the LFS are starting to give me little deals and discounts here and there, since they see me so much! :)

Just got back from the LFS.. have good and bad news.

The porcs looked FANTASTIC!! and I got to see them eat, along with a dog face.. they had my MBU (that I want so badly), a teeeeeeny fahaka, tons of baby spotted, a nice sized figure 8 and the TINIEST stars and stripes!!

the bad news...

He fed them FREEZE DRIED KRILL. Right after I mentioned that it could cause lock jaw. UGH. other than that, he called the people on the puffer forums *freaks* which I calmly accepted to be the truth.. we are a special breed, after all!

I got some new plants for my ceylon tank, after the move.. and.. I have a new tank on the way for my ceylon. He's moving into a 45 long, and the 35 flatback hex will turn into a DWARF PUFFER KINGDOM!!!!!!

Which LFS is that at? I may have to swing down this weekend and "look" at the puffers. General location is ok if you don't want to give out the name.
"Darwin swings...annnnnnd a miss. Boy Jim, Chuck's suffered at the plate tonight. He's 0 for 3 and I'm not sure he's recovered from that shoulder pull a few weeks ago. I'll bet the front office is re-thinking that contract."
