Puffer Compatability

Post by billysgirl4e »

Can puffers (specifically GSP - maybe add. sp. later) cohabitate peacefully with sea slugs?
What are some other good ideas for battling nuisance algae?
(I have a constant problem w/ this, as I cannot yet afford an RO/DI and have high levels of phosphates in my well water)
Thanks
Jess

My SG is currently 1.022. It's normally 1.023, but I ran out of salt. (rolls eyes). So that was the best I could do.

You're going to have to break down & get an RODI, IMO. Used ones constantly offered in local reef forums at Reef Central, also try the Used Equipment Forum there & Craigslist. Got my 4-stage used, for $50
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Heh, my whole hobby is supported by E-bay, Craigslist, ReefCentral, and FreeCycle. Also, a lot of DIY stuff.
