Myaj I can't remember If I posted this one for you.
If I remember right they are similar in apperance. One is freshwater worms and the other is saltwater worms. I spoke to the guy about the article and found out the freshwater version "cannot" be transfered to saltwater but it can go from tank to tank. Freshwater to freshwater and Saltwater to saltwater. This is done by moving plants, substrate, using the same net, etc. It can live in a tank with no fish, all it needs is organisms to attach to like pods that live on fw plants or in saltwater tanks copepods. I'm still learning about these worms and I can send you links to the articles I have found if you want more information.
I'll be starting the treatment tomorrow. I've been keeping a diary on everything I'm doing. I'll update in Annabelle's Ip post. If you need any information about this just let me know. I don't want anyone else going through this.

Camallanus cotti and Camallanus lacustris

Well, I think that's a little too "in depth" for a FAQ but I am really thinking we're going to have to take your post and turn it into a library article for sure, once the whole ordeal is over. You can likely get it published as well, with all those photos and information you gathered along the way, magazines would be fighting over that one.

:redface: Thanks for the complement but I'm not that good at writing articles. :lol: I'll see what I can do, maybe I can get someone on the forum to give me a hand with it. :wink:

I don't think you'd even have to make it a "real" article.. just sort of a diary, like you have so far.

This is the story of Annabell and the worms...

Between the pictures and the info you picked up along the way on different types of parasites and how to treat them, there's not much more needed! And Annabell by herself will sucker everyone in to be pulling for her by the end, who could resist that beauty...

I think a diary style article would be much more effective and really catch the readers attention.

Some pond snail pics, if you still need them.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Grant me the serenity to accept that I can't take every puffer home;
The courage to say no to those big eyes looking back at me;
And the wisdom to do every thing I can for the ones that I have.

Hello!
I walked in today to find my GSP curled up taking a nap on the bottom of the tank, and I managed to snap a picture before he woke up. Here it is! I tried to get a second one, but he woke up too fast!

If you need the original photo, just let me know. I have it in 2048x1536 resolution. Sorry that the tail is slightly blurry. It was taken with my phone. Just PM me if I can be of any more help. Im happy I can actually contribute to this!
